The MI 10 Pro’s 108 megapixel camera was launched from space by Xiaomi in it’s latest advertisement.

The ad which is the latest of the China-based company, posted to it’s Twitter and YouTube channels, boasts the Mi 10 Pro’s camera prowess with images of Earth shot from a space satellite with the Mi 10 Pro’s 108MP camera.

Xiaomi launched a satellite in 2019 with the same 108MP camera on board as the Mi 10 Pro’s. Although the look is great, these only make up about 8 seconds of the entire 1-minute and 27-second commercial. If you want to see the samples, scrub ahead to 0:54 in the video.

Perhaps the ad proves that smartphone cameras aren’t idea for shooting photos of the Earth from space – I mean. It’s not like you’ll even be able to. But the tagline of the ad is clever. “See your world in 108 megapixels”.

As per the ad, Xiaomi expects to serve over 100 million users around the world in 2020. The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro is already available in China, but the company will hold its international launch of its new smartphones on March 27. Given the results of the initial flash sale, the MI 10 duo may turn out to be a popular choice this year.

Travel To Moon By Car

Most times some of us have had this weird thinking of travelling to the farthest places with our hubbies, but have you ever thought of travelling to the moon be car?

Astronomer Fred Hoyle was the first to point out that if you could drive a car upwards at 95km/h (60mph), it would only take about an hour to get into space.

To get to the Moon would take a little longer though, since it’s 400,000km (250,000 miles) away – around 10 times the circumference of the Earth. So it would take as long as driving around the world 10 times(this would take you six months). Even if you travel with the world’s fastest car(bugatti veyron).

Your only real problem (apart from the lack of air for your lungs and for burning the petrol) would be finding a garage to refuel – and that has a loo!

A Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) to be unveiled by University of Lagos

A zero-emissions vehicle, or ZEV, is a vehicle that emits no exhaust gas from the onboard source of power. Exhaust gas contains harmful pollutants to the health and the environment such as particulates (soot), hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, ozone, lead, and various oxides of nitrogen.

The University of Lagos is set to unveil a zero-emission car manufactured by a research team in the institution.

Prof. Dixon Akinleye, Chairman, Sub Committee (Abstract), made the revelation at a news conference in Lagos to announce the institution’s 14th Research Conference and Fair.

The zero-emission car is one of the products of research grants of about N5 billion that the university has attracted in the last one year.
Prof. Samson Adeosun, the Lead Scientist, led a group of students from the Faculty of Engineering to achieve this feat.
According to Prof Adeosun, another group of researchers has also already developed a more efficient brake pad made from recycled materials. The zero-emission car and other products will be showcased at a forthcoming conference that will take place from Aug. 21 to Aug. 23 with the theme: “Automation and Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities for 21st Century Research and Development”.

iPhone 11R release date, news, leaks and price

Apple is largely expected to release three new iPhone models this year just like the company did last year, and among them we’re likely to see a successor to the iPhone XR, which for now we’re calling the iPhone 11R or iPhone XIR as largely speculated.

We’ve got more on names below, but more importantly we’ve also collected all the leaks and rumors we can find about the iPhone 11R’s design, specs and features.

Being an iPhone, and being this close to launch, a lot has been leaked, so there’s plenty to get stuck into. We’ll also be sure to update this article whenever we hear anything new, so check back regularly for all things iPhone 11R.

iPhone 11R price and release date.

As for the price, there aren’t any real rumors about that, but much of a price rise for the most basic model seems unlikely, so we could be looking at something similar to the $749 / £749 / AU$1,229 starting price of the iPhone XR.

The iPhone 11R is sure to land in September, as that’s when Apple typically announces new handsets. More specifically, it’s very likely to land on September 10, as an image showing this date has been found in the iOS 13 beta.

Even before that though, we predicted that it would be announced on September 10, as in the last few years the announcements have taken place on the Tuesday or Wednesday around that date.

Wednesday September 11 is unlikely for obvious reasons, so the Tuesday was our best guess, with pre-orders likely opening on Friday September 13, and the phone probably going on sale on Friday September 20, based on past form.

However, the iPhone XR actually went on sale later than the iPhone XS range, with people unable to buy it until October 26 of 2018, so we can’t rule out a similar delay here. Though sources do suggest they will all go on sale at the same time, and either way a September 10 announcement is still likely.

Even that isn’t set in stone though, with @evleaks (a reputable leaker) posting a timelinethat suggests a late September announcement for the iPhone 11 range.

iPhone 11R design and display

The consensus so far is that the design won’t be changing much for the iPhone 11R, meaning you can still probably expect a notch and a similar overall look.

The one key difference that has been heavily rumored is the look of the cameras though, as these are now expected to sit in a square block at the top left corner, making them rather more prominent than the iPhone XR’s small single-lens snapper.

Alleged next iPhone case moldings show what we discussed in our story last week in terms of new cameras. 3 on the high end, 2 on the new XR. Plus all models apparently getting a square, at least based on this one mold floating around.
